Names like Sydney?

I really like the name Sydney, at least until I realized how close it is to Cindy, one of my SIL's names. I think it would be confusing to have two people in our immediate families with practically the same name. Any suggestions for names that are similar to Sydney? I'm starting to think I won't have a name for our baby girl until she's born... Thanks ladies!

I love Sydney, it was in our top 2 if Jericho had been a girl. Others that may, or may not, be like it....for me anyway are. Ruby, Hailey, Laney, Riley, Darcy.

I'm not sure about names like Sydney, but if it means anything, DD is Sydney and rarely do people ever think we are saying Cindy. We even have a aunt named Cindy and it's no big deal. I say, if you love the name, use it!

Aubry, Ainsley, Caitlyn. I wouldn't worry about your dd & sil having similar names. Maybe two little ones with similar names might be confusing, but I don't thinkyou have anything to worry about.

ETA: I actually like the name Sidney, but spelled like that. Perfectly fine for a girl given that few boys get named that these days.

Sydney and Sadie are both on our long list and they remind me of each other. Other names you might like: Madison, Peyton, Bailey, Morgan, Hadley. For the record I also don't think Cindy and Sydney are too similar.
