Favorite names from this year's classes...

Champagne, Star, Kam'Ron

Asia, China, Jamaica, Boston and Aspen (apparently we are world travelers) ETA:  I do not dislike these place names, just can't believe I have so many this year.

And the winner is:

Jetter.  So  you read it like an airplane type thing, right?  No, no, no, his parents are HUGE Yankee fans and named him "Jeter", after Derek Jeter...apparently they didn't check the spelling on the back of any jerseys before signing the birth certificate!

    I do not dislike Asia, or any of the location names, just crazy that I have so many "places" for names in my classes this year!

    Jeter = the verb "to throw" in French

    In my opinion they should have THROWN this name out!

    I don't mind the "traveler" names, but there sure are a lot of them!
    Jetter is horrible.  And if the parents were really that big fans of the Yankees they could have at least gotten it right!

    I spied a "Surina" on a locker at DD's PS.  Reminds me of Purina ...

    Seriously, right?  MH is a HUGE Derek Jeter fan and has joked that he wants to name our next dog Jeter.  Dog.  Not child.  That poor kid.

    Jetter is just horrible and so is Kam'Ron.

    I don't think of  Aspen as a place name. I know it is a place, but I automatically think tree.
