Any Lakeview/Lincoln Park Area Working Moms of Toddlers?
I completely missed the boat on playgroups because I was too busy preparing to go back to work then adjusting to that... I thought I might get to know moms at daycare, but everyone is on a different schedule. My daughter turns 2 this month and I'd love to get to know other moms that work full-time or part-time. I love all of my friends dearly, but most still don't have kids, so I feel isolated sometimes - my worries are very different! I don't have many people to talk about preschool options, etc with! I know my husband would love to meet some dads too. Anyway, I'd love to start a mini group - part mom's go have fun / meet in the loop for lunch,etc part playgroup meet up at the park. About me.... I work full-time in the loop in finance... I'm 30... hoping to get pregnant again soon... not originally from Chicago.. I'm not completely sure what to expect out of this since I am not a big "board poster" but I figure I'll give it a shot!
