Pay Question (xp from MN)

So DH just got out of boot camp in August. He graduated as an E2. So now that he is in SOI, he should be getting an E2 pay right?

He hasn't been able to set up his My Pay yet because they haven't mailed us his password and he can't call the Finance office (if that is who you would call for these issues) since he is out in the field Mon-Fri. So here I am, in the dark about this pay situation, with no clue how to fix it. Should I just wait until SOI is over and he can deal with this?

Any suggestions?

If he is an E2 he should get E2 pay. Cant he change his password? I do it to my husbands mypay all the time

He never received a 1st password to get the account set up. We put in a the request twice to have it mailed to us and it has never came. So frustrating. I'm going to tell him that he just needs to talk to his CO and see if he can get it figured out during the week. Sigh.

My H has everything sent via e-mail. The address he has on file will receive the letter. Not sure if he put his parents address or your address, etc... Also you will not be able to view any LES statement until later in the month. I want to say the 25th but that might be wrong [ladies chime in if I am off]. I will wait until the 28th or so to view my H's LES on MyPay. I remember when H was in bootcamp he setup his bank account on PI but later changed the bank in SOI and setup MyPay.

You should be able to go to the finance office and have them reset the mypay password. They give you a temporary one and then you et it to what you want. Let them know you never got it. Do you have a military dependent ID? You'll need it. He should get his E2 pay...but it sometimes take a little while to transfer and he will get a back pay of it eventually. Military finance....terrrible!

I know this all too well! Military myself.
