  • We follow the standard schedule and I understand some parents that do an alternative schedule.  I don't get people that don't give ANY vaccinations.

I guess 'tis the season for vaccination questions, by the gallons, everyday.

Yes, I vaccinate my LO, normal schedule.

I know, right?! They are everywhere!

This. Beaten to death. That being said, we go today for DS's 12 month shots, he had a runny nose last week and a slight cough this am. I'm wondering if she will delay it because of that.

I was wondering about this, too. I had her 12-month shots delayed b/c of a cold. The doc seemed cool with it. Last night, I read that, for kids, they can even get vaccines when they're sick. That their immune systems are fierce! That's different than from adults.

DD is better now; I will take her in today. I want to be sure to get both flu shots early.

  • We skipped hep B at birth. He'll get it before he starts school. We also skipped rotavirus because he's not in daycare and the pedi wasn't pushing it. Everything else is being done on schedule.
  • I voted yes, but we're on a delayed schedule.
