B goes to bed between 8 and 9. But, he's only taking one nap a day now instead of the three that he used to take. I guess he's scared he's going to miss something if he goes to sleep!
For a few weeks if Ryan wasn't down by 6:05 he was a freaking bear. He needed to go to sleep that early. Now all of a sudden he wants to be up until 8:30.

Depends on when his afternoon nap ends. If it's before 2pm, he's in bed by 6:30. If it's later, he usually makes it to 7 or 7:30. We roll with it every day...

That's how Izzy was. We couldn't go anywhere after 5 because we knew she would be a monster. LOL

YES!! While it's nice that we have the option to go somewhere now, I was kind of getting used to that quiet time!

Yea I think I'd rather have the quiet time. Goodbye, quiet hours. lol

Honestly since he's started going down later his sleep has suffered. He wakes up crying more often and he's waking earlier. So while I liked the quiet hours, I really just miss the sleeping part!

Mine goes down between 7 and 8. although yesterday he took a nap at like 4 30 until 5 30. I knew I should have woken him up but it was nice to get off work and do stuff like go to the bathroom alone, anyway it was almost 9 before he was asleep. I thought maybe he'd sleep in but he was up for a bottle at 5 and for good at 7. Bleh.

Bedtime is always 8pm. He is taking mostly 2 naps a day, somtimes 3, if one of the naps is short.

We're more lax on bedtime now. If they're in a good mood they can stay up but this Momma needs to have quiet time so they are in bed no later than 830pm. The norm is usually 730-8pm though.

Depends on the nap...he takes his last nap at daycare at 4:00, and wakes up usually when I come to pick him up between 5:00 and 5:30. If he takes that nap, we start his bedtime routine at 8:30 and he's down at 9:00 with minimal fussing. If he decides he's too cool for a nap, he gets cranky before 8:00. This gives Mommy and Daddy enough time to watch 2 TV shows in the DVR instead of just one! Holla!
Recently Max went from going down between 8-9 and now goes to bed between 7-8. He made the change himself because he is so exhausted from playing so hard.
He's just an awful napper that he is a mess that early. Occasionally it will be more like 7, but that's mostly if we're out or he's distracted enough to not realize he is tired and fuss.
An early bedtime has never worked for this girl. She prefers staying up late and waking up late. Just recently she has started waking at 6:30am which I am not liking! But her awake time is 3 hours then 3 hours and 45 min after each nap so she's still in bed later than most. I can't imagine a 7 pm bedtime. We tried really hard to get her there but it just wasn't right for her.

C goes to bed between 7-8pm. Any later and he is just a wreck.
Every once in a while he stays up later and he does ok. I have too much school work to get done in the evening for him to be up late all the time though. I would never get anything done.
My 4.5 year old still goes to bed by 8-8:30. We have never really given him a choice to consistently stay up late (he does on special occasions).

We're in total sleep transition right now. Sometimes it's one nap, sometimes it's 2. Sometimes they total 1.5 hours, sometimes 3.5 hours. Sometimes he's falling apart at 6:15, other times he's happy to play and shows no signs up sleepiness until after 8. I think part of it is he's milestone central right now and I know that can affect their sleep.
I am assuming he'll be at one nap soon. We're targeting a 7-7:30 bedtime, although that could transition to 8 if he starts not being tired as early. Gives us a family dinner but then some mom and dad time.
That is pretty much us. I was just wondering if we should be moving bedtime back later or if she needs to drop that last nap or what.
Is a later bedtime going to be detrimental, will she get enough sleep? So many questions.
