Yup, depends on your state. I have full physical (legal doesn't affect the CS calculation) custody of DS.
We don't "split" anything in regards to DS's actual costs. My state calculates a basic support amount based on our incomes and that's it, regardless of how much daycare, insurance, diapers, housing, etc. cost. He is responsible for a small portion of unreimbursed medical expenses, but that was negotiated separately. His court ordered amount pays for my mileage to pick up DS at the end of visitation twice a month and that's it.
We have medical expenses determined in the CO, but our kids weren't in paid daycare at the time. So for now, we just split the cost of daycare and preschool 50/50.
