Winter gear for bob revolution

Hi there,

I'm new to running and have a bob revolution. I'm trying to figure out the best way to winterize the stroller so my almost 2 1/2 year old and I can keep going on our daily runs once it gets colder. Does anyone with a bob have any experience with the footmuffs on the market? What works best? The warm fuzzy that goes with the bob will not be enough...Do you know if the JJ Cole Bundle me works?? Does another one work better?

THANK YOU!!!!

  • I don't have experience with that, but I dressed DS in a snowsuit put on a hat under the hood, and wrapped a fleece blanket around his legs, he seemed to do fine.

  • I haven't used mine yet, but I bought my bob revolution from a woman who originally used it in Boston, she sold me the warm fuzzy and the weather/rain shield with the stroller- and told me the the weather shield made the world of difference to her daughter, as it kept out most of the wind chill and effectively kept her in a "warm bubble".  I'm sure she dressed her warmly on top of that, but after seeing how snuggly the weather shield covers everything, I can see how it's an easy way to keep the chill out, I'm not sure I would have spent the money on one before I actually saw it in person, but will be glad to have it during the winters!
