I got called for jury duty this week, and while we're still in the selection phase, looks like if I get picked, it'll be 1.5-2wks' of trial... and we're not allowed to eat in the courtroom or leave to go to the bathroom except at designated breaks!
Thankfully, they're letting me bring my water bottle into the courtroom, but man...! This'll be an interesting ~2wks if I get picked after all.
Re: NBR: Jury Duty Whine (Short!)
lol the problem will be if you drink that whole water bottle -- they will have to let you pee! haha

I've never made it all the way through the selection process because of my job, but I've always thought it would be interesting. I think I would like it!
I got called when I was pregnant with my son. They said we would be going 4 hours at a time with no break at all and would anyone have a problem with that. I was about 6 months pregnant at the time and said there was no way I could go 4 hours without using the bathroom. Both lawyers agreed and said to dismiss me, but the judge said that was ridiculous. The lawyers agreed to throw me out despite what the judge said. Turns out I would have been dismissed a few questions later anyway (based on what the people coming out were talking about).
Good luck
