I made Beef and chicken ones! They are SOOOOOOOO GOOD! I pre-packaged them for DH to take to work. I made 30 of them for freezing and microwaving at work
mmmmm! I grew up with them being called "pasties" and I LOVE them! We would make them with my grandma all the time, although they tended to turn out a little dry (she liked them that way) so we would always have a side of sauce or gravy for them, too.
I once had one that was Thanksgiving themed: turkey chunks instead of chicken with stuffing and cranberries inside, served with gravy. YUM!
I keep telling my DH that I am going to attempt making these.
Sundevil, DH went to ASU as well and that is where his pasty love started. Every single time we are back in the area, we actually go to the pasty shop directly from the airport.

I just had this kind last week!! It was called the New England Pasty. I had been craving pastys for weeks, and was sooooo excited to find a place that serve these!

Woohoo.
I know there are some pasty shops around here but I haven't been to one and haven't had a pasty since I visited London ages ago...guess if it's so good that it's his first stop I should give them a try.

One of his teammates was from London, so I think that is where it all started. This is where we go: https://www.cornishpastyco.com/index.html
