I was looking on the "Considering this name?" section of the site that pper mentioned below where people can post what type of bullying they got for their name. I ran across this:
If you plan to name your baby girl dylan, DON'T!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T DO IT!!!! Save her the agonising pain of having her P.E. teacher put a 'he' insted of a she on her report card and just call her 'Jessica' or 'Valerie' or somethign - anything- else
Dylan - 17 years old
There are also a ton of posts on there from girl Dylans who say they hate their name because it is a boys name. So please take her advice. My unborn son will also thank you for not feminising his name
Re: Girls named Dylan
I know, actually I am not totally against them either. I just constantly see discussion about this name becoming a girls name and people are all worried about it on here and I thought this was kind of funny since we picked that name for our boy.

This and I hate Dylan for a girl.
Well it is currently 31 on the boys list and something like 571 on the girls list and dropping the past few years, so I don't think we have to worry too much about it just yet. I'd be more worried if it were Addison, Hayden, Quinn or Riley.
I hate it as much as I hate any other obviously boy name on a girl.
I don't like Dylan for a girl.
I don't like boy names for girl names, that is just me.
I know it won't be, I wasn't arguing that it would, I posted that because I've seen a lot of people who are worried about it on this board lately. I obviously chose it for my boy because I don't really care. I'm the one that posted that I am not worried about it because it is #571. I just thought that was a funny comment from a girl named Dylan, for those ladies who are worried about it becoming a girls name.
