nursing moms: what to take?

I think I have a cold coming on and want to take something to try to prevent it from getting worse.  What meds can you take when nursing?  I tried to call my ob and they told me to call the peditrician office, and just have not got a call back yet. TIA!

    I would recommend garlic. It's a natural healer.

    Check out kellymom.  They have a list of meds that are ok to take.  I took Zicam, it said it's ok to take & if you do want to take that, it's important to take it right away.
