We had a good weekend, busy but nice. I'm taking Friday off so DH & I can go to the Home Show in Toronto. It should be neat. So it's a lovely short week for me and a 3 day weekend! I can't wait for Thursday afternoon lol
Well girls, it appears that I'm out another cycle...maybe. I think. I tested all weekend (Sat, Sun & this morning) and all BFN's. AF is due today and I'm very crampy and just feel blah. Although I haven't started spotting or anything so there's still a chance. I had some temp drops on the weekend but not below the coverline so I'm still grasping at that little bit of hope. *sigh* So we sit and we wait.
On a much happier note... Happy Anniversary to DH & I today! 2 years married.

Our weekend was pretty good. Friday we finished up work at my parents house. They were thrilled with how it turned out, so that's good!
Saturday I did a bunch of yard work (still have to seed the lawn!) and we played Settler's with BIL and his gf. H also made it out for a training ride. He's doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer next June in memory of his BFF's son, so he's got to log a lot of miles on his bike. He managed a very respectable 56 km.
Yesterday was pretty low key. We finally started cutting out the pieces for our kitchen cabinets! That was exciting. I need to update my blogs. We've done so much work since I last did. I'm a terrible blogger.
Oh yeah, and we had dinner with my dad and step-mom in Toronto last night and told them, so now all the parents know. It went well!
And, I'm redonkulously excited for premier week. I won't get to watch HIMYM tonight though, because H is off to the Jays game tonight with his BFF. Oh well, Top Chef Just Desserts it is!
Yay Raynes, that's so exciting that all the parents know!!
There's a lot of new shows premiering that I'm interested to watch.. I feel guilty I'm going to abandon Food Network now because I won't have time for it! lol

YAY Criminal Minds! I'm excited for that one too. We are huge TV nerds, especially when the weather starts turning cold we are couch potatoes.
I'm still stressed about my stupid chart. It doesn't look like I've O'd yet, and I'm on CD24.
Yeah, the kitchen. Mostly, we're cheap, and can build them ourselves for a LOT cheaper. Also, then we get a custom kitchen. One of the girls on my club board on TN is a kitchen designer, so she hooked us up with a professional design.
We'll see how it goes, but at least we have a strict deadline now.
Sorry to hear about your BFNs, but you aren't out till AF shows.
Surprisingly enough, I've held off testing. Now I'm thinking I've got 2 more days, I can hold off till AF or I'm late. It's been tempting I tell you.

I love Criminal Minds, and can't wait for Hawaii 5-0 and the Good Wife.
This week is a normal length week for me, I worked yesterday, and have 4 more days to go... Had my ultrasound on Friday and am just waiting until my appt next Tuesday for the results and a plan.

I think after this cycle (if I'm not KU, of course) I'll try temping vaginally, maybe it'll help me out a bit with more consistency. Plus I'm sure I included temps that I shouldn't have (ie. waking up an hour before I'm supposed to temp, and then going back to sleep and temping an hour later).. I'm just trying to keep my hopes up that nothing is wrong.
Wahoo! H isn't going to the game anymore, so now we can watch HIMYM tonight. Woo hoo!
rocky, I was going to suggest temping vaginally, because some of your temps seem to be all over the place. Just be honest with your temping. It's not a test, if you wake up early temp then and record the time. You might just be having an off cycle (um, hello? stress of temping?) so don't worry yet!
This is definitely stressing me out a bit! I'm not a big stressed out person, my hairdresser even commented on how relaxed I was coming up to my wedding.
I guess it just stresses me out knowing that something could be wrong, and there's a lot of pressure lol I'd rather know though, than not temp and just blindly go at it for a year.. at least temping will give me some insight!
If I'm not KU this cycle, I'll definitely go in to next cycle with a different approach.. maybe order some OPKs and PreSeed as well!
I dont know how I've done it to be honest. Might be that DH says there's no way I am. It's hard to hold out especially since I've been sick for 5 days with nausea.

Awe I know how you feel. My coworker just found out she's pregnant last week and they weren't trying and really aren't ready. It hurt me, a lot. It's only going to get harder over the next 7 months as her and I work side by side all day (it's just the two of us). I'd be lying if I said I didn't cry every night last week. I know God works in mysterious ways, but sometimes he really makes it hard to comprehend.
My coworker is sad, her boyfriend feels his life is ruined. It's not a good situation which makes it harder on me because I have to hear all the negatives about her pregnancy when I would die to be pregnant right now. Every time she complains I have to pause and remind myself that I'm above becoming the crying/ranting mess that I want to become.
It's different in megs case because she's welcoming it if it happens and they are planning to TTC. The only reason they aren't is because of a trip. My coworker didn't use protection and thought they'd take a chance.

It's definitely hard. Especially when she's tried giving me advice. This morning her response after I told her my test was negative was "Oh, well maybe you should stop trying, act like you don't want kids and get drunk. It worked for us!"

Umm technically if I'm KU this cycle it would have been an accident :P definitely not planned. But I guess the difference is, I want kids... just not yet.
No I know, I wasn't referring to you lol I was talking about people who have no plans to have kids, get pregnant because of irresponsibility and then are stuck with kids that they weren't sure they wanted to begin with!
At least you want them, and would be happy if you were! Even if it wasn't planned (yet) lol
The "best" (sarcasm) advice I've gotten so far was "Don't think negative thoughts because that will affect it" (While telling my friend I was waiting to find out if I'm KTFU or not)

LOL!! Wow. That's the worst everrr.
My most annoying piece of advice that I received was from my BFF who got KU by accident with no intention to start a family anytime soon.
I told her I was going to start temping to that I know if I'm O'ing and she replied something to the effect of "why worry about stuff like that? have fun and it'll happen"..
Actually it won't happen if I'm not O'ing!! lol
