**Just a quick note**
We have a lot of new faces on the check-in over the past few weeks which is wonderful! Part of what makes the check-in fun is when everyone participates in the rest of the board as well. It really allows us to get to "know" each other. Many have said they are here to meet local Moms. What better way than to participate in the discussion on the board? 
So if you are new (or just haven't particiapted much) I encourage you to become active as it makes the Seattle Bumpies more fun. Don't be shy!

3. What are you looking forward to this week? No longer doing two jobs at the same time, as I have been doing the last two weeks. Also, going to the fair, and doing some work on Collin's big boy room.
4. Monday confession? The rod in my linen closet is almost full of clothes for Bean. Whoops.
5. Are you planning a night away before baby comes? If so, where are you going? ?cmcmilan We went to Vegas in June.
6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? I'm about to start week 7, and hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it. ?RequiresExalted Six weeks and still going. I went on Zofran at eight weeks.
7. Any working moms have advice for coping with nausea at work? ?TessEEE I dealt with it during my first pregnancy when I wasn't WAH. I drank lemonade, sniffed lemons and got up to take walks as often as I could.
8. Are you eating organic throughout your pregnancy? -Jennlin I am eating what stays down. Period.
9. Questions for next week? Nope!

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? I think 18 starts tomorrow. Nothing bad, exhausted by the end of the day.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Thursday is "big u/s", doctor next week.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Dinner with a good friend and u/s, we are taking Mason which will be fun.
4. Monday confession? I can't stop making/eating rice krispie treats.
5. Are you planning a night away before baby comes? If so, where are you going? ?cmcmilan Yes. I will get acouple (3-4) nights away with massages before baby comes.
6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? I'm about to start week 7, and hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it. ?RequiresExalted I never had it, just upset tummy feeling, like being hungover.

4. Monday confession? I'm WAY too stressed out lately & decided to do a house project to help, which includes painting our cabinets. I feel guilty about the paint fumes. I'm wearing a mask, but still...
5. Are you planning a night away before baby comes? If so, where are you going? ?cmcmilan Yes. Oktoberfest in Leavenworth with 10 friends. Need to get the adult time in while we still have some sort of social life.
6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? I'm about to start week 7, and hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it. ?RequiresExalted Good luck! 6 weeks - 13 weeks all day every day. Now it's mostly gone but sneaks up on me from time to time.

3. Monday confession? I'm so over TTC right now. I'm ready to just give up everything; temping, OPKs, tracking. My frustration level is through the roof.

i had a panic attack last night because i couldn't find my water bottle. i ended up throwing up. how lame is that?

not specifically. i've been wanting to go snorkeling for about 2 years.. i told h that if we don't go now, we won't be able to go for 5+ years...so we're going to pureto vallarta in november. we have friends coming with, so it's not a "baby moon" by any means.

i didn't *really* have it..just on and off lightly nauseated. it started about week 7ish. stopped maybe last week (18).

before i was "out" i warned my closest cube neighbor that i was pregnant and that i may or may not run at a moments notice. and if someone asks, to please help cover for me.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I have an appointment this Thrusday for the 20 week Fetal Scan and we are hoping that we'll go home with the gender!!!!
3. What are you looking forward to this week? A quiet week at work and having some of my house cleaned out of items we posted on craigslist so that we can work on our nursery and spare room.

8. Are you eating organic throughout your pregnancy? When possible I do. We eat a lot of fruit- A LOT- and so we're switching all that to organic. I do organic dairy as well to avoid the hormones.

Week 8 today! Besides sore boobs and some bloating, I have zero symptoms. I know I should feel lucky but it worries me more than anything else.

Wednesday is my first doctor's appointment! Can't wait to hear that little heartbeat. Fingers and toes and eyes are crossed.

My doctor's appointment, and we are meeting with our realtor tonight. Life is seemingly catching up with me.

Not yet! Maybe we'll plan something fun for down the road - a trip to the oregon coast or something easy, but it's still so early.

No morning sickness for me yet, thank god. My sister was bed ridden with M/S during all three of her pregnancies so I'm counting myself very lucky. It could still happen though!

I wouldn't say everything I eat is organic, but we mainly have a diet of fruit, veggies, and lean proteins to begin with, and we like to eat local so I guess we're just doing more of the same.

6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? M/S started for me at almost 6 weeks and lasted through week 15. It's now starting to resurface.
7. Any working moms have advice for coping with nausea at work? ?TessEEE Plain bagel with cream cheese helped me. I ended up on Zofran after days of being unable to keep anything down. Also, don't allow yourself to have a completely empty stomach. Have some sort of carb. snack nearby at all times.

4. Monday confession? I ate so much healthier before the baby, now that I am not working out as hard I am not as motivated to eat a clean diet.
5. Are you planning a night away before baby comes? If so, where are you going? ?cmcmilan We decided to not do it. We just ran out of week ends and H needs to save his time off. We decided we would rather go somewhere nice for our anniversary.
6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? I'm about to start week 7, and hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it. ?RequiresExalted I felt nauseaus about at 8 weeks. I didn't start constantly getting sick until my second trimester, believe it or not. I think my stomache is just our of room though.
7. Any working moms have advice for coping with nausea at work? ?TessEEE I sit at a desk for a living so that helps. Just eat small snacks, don't eat too much at once. If you are getting sick a lot you might want to ask your doc for meds. It made my life so much more tollerable once I had my anti vomit pill.

Almost halfway done! My lower back's been hurting me lately, especially if I'm not super-careful about how I sit in chairs or lean over too much. Oof.

Same as last time; next appt is 6th Oct, and the a/s u/s on 7th Oct. Woohoo!

1. What week are you in? Any new aches or pains? Week 10. Clothes are starting to get tight, and bad posture at work is killing me.
2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? Finally have my first appt. on Wednesday. Praying we get to hear the heartbeat.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? 1st appt. with my midwives.
4. Monday confession? I cannot stop eating. All willpower has gone out the window. It's going be a long 30 weeks.
5. Are you planning a night away before baby comes? If so, where are you going? ?cmcmilan Probably not. We should, but money is tight and all the places I want to go are $$.
6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? I'm about to start week 7, and hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get it. ?RequiresExalted I had only slight nausea with my last pregnancy, and this one is going the same.

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Waiting for our follow up appointment next week to figure out when we can do a frozen cycle. I'm back on BCPs hoping to do this as soon as possible, but realistically it won't be until early November.
2. What are you looking forward to this week? Having a weekend without house guests, travel or any plans at all.
3. Monday confession? I'm in a position right now where I am unable to process anyone else's good news. It seems nothing in the TTC world is going right for us, and it is so hard for me to see things work out for others. I don't like feeling like this. I am seriously thinking of starting therapy.

1. What cycle are you on? Waiting to O or 2WW? Cycle 4, 2ww. I'm supposed to start AF on Fri. though and got a BFN yesterday so I'm pretty sure we're moving on to cycle 5.
2. What are you looking forward to this week? My 30th B-day is Friday!!!!
3. Monday confession? I really want a McDonald's cheeseburger and fries for lunch. like, REALLY want one. And I never eat there (except when I was preggo before).
Pregnant Questions6. If you had M/S, when did it start for you? Mine started around week 6 or 7 I think. I didn't have it too badly, but it was there.7. Any working moms have advice for coping with nausea at work? I always kept snacks on hand. Mine was the worst if I let myself get too hungry, so I nibbled on crackers, chocolate milk, toast, etc throughout the day.8. Are you eating organic throughout your pregnancy? Um, no. Toast, fruit, and McDonalds was about all I could keep down for my 1 tri.

2. When is your next appointment? Will anything special happen at that appointment? I was supposed to have one yesterday... I assumed they would give me a reminder call.... so I forgot.
3. What are you looking forward to this week? Curriculum night is over! Time to focus on unpacking boxes!

8. Are you eating organic throughout your pregnancy? I always try to eat organic, but my Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream chips are.... NOT organic.

Hi, I'm new on this board, been a stalker for a few weeks. Just found out I am pregnant last week!! I live in the Bellevue area.
1) I am in Week 5 going on 6, only new thing this week was sometimes short of breath when on my jogs.
2) Next and actually 1st appt since pregnant is Oct 26th, likely bloodwork, and hoping that at that point potentially ultrasound and doppler (right? @ 9wks? )
3) This week looking forward to a new book from the library about exercising during pregnancy to feel more comfortable and get new ideas for that.
4)My monday confession, as much as I wanted to tell family, I feel like now I'm going to be worried all the time that someone will blab and tell a bunch of other ppl before I get the chance to, Or post it on FB without thinking!
5) Haven't thought that far ahead about planning time away.
6) So far no M/S for me, some queasiness started week 4 but mostly ok since then, just eating more regularly so it doesn't set it off, but kinda want it to happen so I know things are going ok.
7) I'm stay at home student right now so sorry no advice to give
8) Not eating organic, but continuing to eat really healthy balanced meals, lots of veggies, fish, lean meat and whole grains in variety
9) Any recommendations on pregnant yoga or pilates classes, preferably on the eastside?
