We got M a little seat that straps to a chair instead of a high chair and now he's getting too big for it. Does anyone have any recs for a booster seat that doesn't look like it belongs at a Denny's?
rofl....no help here, once the high chair wasn't working, we've never bothered with a booster. The girls seemed to prefer kneeling. I'd say yellow pages, but they've even eliminated those here!
Okay, eww...I just had a look at BRU (US), and most of them look like either a bumbo or a fast food booster. Same with the specialty store site I go to....some even look like a potty chair. Ugh, good luck, it doesn't look promising.
We have the Fisher Price Healthy Care Booster. My DS is 22 months old and weighs about 28lbs he still fits no problem and loves this seat. He likes it so much that when we aren't using it, we sit it on the floor in his room and he just goes over and sits in it and tries to put the tray on. Too cute! Hope you find one you like.

Yeah, I saw lots of Bumbo's and the like, but most stuff is too smallfor him.

That sounds promising, but I have my heart set on just a booster - no tray, no attachments; just something to boost him up.
I have this one, too. It does have the straps to attach it to the chair, and we don't use the tray with it. We just expand it to the highest setting (there are 3 levels) so DS can sit at the table with us...sometimes. Messy meals he still goes in the highchair!
