so my kid wants to be a vacuum for Halloween

I had plans for Halloween. My older son was going to be a firefighter and the baby was going to be a dalmation. I found cute ideas online on how to make both costumes using sweatshirts and sweatpants.

And then my son tells me he want to be a vacuum. Yes, you read that correctly...a vacuum. He's determined to be one. he loves vacuums. He made messes just so he can use the vacuum.

I posted about this on my local Nest board and someone found a link with a cute idea on how to make the costume. And it was suggested that the baby be a dust bunny.

So now I will be making a vacuum costume and a dust bunny costume. Sigh. My kid is weird. I still am in love with the firefighter/dalmation combo. Oh well.

I kid, I kid. I just couldn't resist. I think it's absolutely adorable, and you should totally go with it. The dust bunny idea is great too, and you could dress up as a G-rated maid or something if you want in on the fun. I love the ideas that they come up with all on their own, and this will make a great story and pictures for later.
