Just had a moment of panic

I had to run an errand and drove past my 1st grader's school on the way home.  I saw a ambulance with lights and siren leaving his school.  I totally panicked until I got home and checked my answering machine to make sure school wasn't trying to call me.

The same thing happened a few years ago when I drove past his daycare.  The daycare was smaller, so I pulled in the parking lot and called after the ambulance left...just to make sure it wasn't my kid.

I hope that it's not anything too serious and just them being cautious.

    Oh no! That would send me into a panic, too! Hope whoever it was for is OK.

    I had a missed call on my house phone a few times and I freaked out, because then I was worried the school had called but didn't' call my cell and I missed it.  But everything was fine. 

    Even when the school calls and DD is fine, I totally freak out.. ahh, being a momma :)
