potty seats

does anyone have those potty seats that you actually put on your toilet that are attached...so tehre is an "adult" seat and a kid seat all in one, like this one

Which one do you have and do you like it?  DS has started indicating that he has gone and so I figured it may be the time to at least have him start going before bath and such..no real potty training as he isn't even 2 but just to have around...

thanks!

Re: potty seats

  • One step Ahead has one which I believe a friend of ours uses. It actually clicks into the lid, which is really nice. I've been thinking about ditching the potty rings and trying out the One Step Ahead all in one seat.

  • my friend has one of these, from Home Depot, I think and they love it; her boys are older though, youngest is 4.5. I would not get it just yet b/c you need a pee guard for a boy or else he'll pee all over the seat, and you and himself and everything else. I think these are great for older kids or girls or boys who can pee standing up.

  • Yes, and we love it.  It's great - the magnet is really strong and keep the kid seat up without any problems.  DD knows how to lower it and it makes the potty experience so much more grown-up for her. I've accidentally sat on the kids seat without looking on occasion and it's still big enough for me to use as well.  We bought ours at Home Depot, I don't remember there being much in the way of choice.  I think the brand has the word "home" in it.  I can look tonight.
