GD and Tri-care Standard...did you have to pay??

I just got a bill from the hospital, I am getting charged for my gestational diabetes education appointment I had with the diabetes center at the hospital. I called Tri-care and they told me that I had to contact the center and have them file the claim with a maternity code, as well as the diagnostic code it was originally filed under.
So that's what I did...but the center is telling me that is was filed under a partum-diagnostic code and I needed to call Tri-care and have them look into it better...

Originally, I was with Prime but I had to switch when my rural hospital closed down...I knew I had GD when I switched, so I had talked to the Tri-care Standard rep about my diabetic education visits being covered, in which she told me that anything maternity related will be covered 100%....

So shouldn't this situation be covered 100%?? Tomorrow I am calling Tri-care and getting more info about the claim and the code they have...the Diabetic Center's billing lady has given me her number for Tri-care to contact...I hope all goes well and I don't have to pay the $87 bill!

    Do you have a local TriCare rep you can contact or, better yet, go see in person regarding this?  I don't have GD, but there was a communication issue between my OB's office and TriCare that I had to all but pull teeth to get worked out.  Best of luck to you!
