I used to have my facebook set up so only my friends could see my pictures and stuff. But they changed it and that's not the case anymore. In fact, someone I don't want seeing my pictures or knowing my business (that I made a point of declining as a friend) commented on one of my pictures. Is there a way to make sure that this doesn't happen anymore. I tried to change my privacy settings, but they even changed that part!

    Hmm, I need to go look at mine again but, I thought you could select "friends only" and then no one else could see them. Boo if this isn't the case anymore.

    are any of your privacy settings set to "Friends of Friends" can comment or post? I know it used to be some kind of weird bug that even if you aren't friends with someone, if you have a mutual friend that posts on a picture or something, you could see that picture. They've changed everything all around so I can't find it right now, but I do remember having to go in and manually change that setting so Friends of Friends couldn't see my pictures.

    You could also go and actually block that person. I think that prevents them from even seeing that you have a profile, let alone anything on there.

    I noticed that last night when I posted pictures from my beach weekend. I got a few comments from people I didn't know but were friends with my friend. I know I put my settings as friends only to view my albums. I do not like the new change at all!!

    Me too. I can't stand how they keep changing rules and settings. But yes, you can resolve this. You may have already done most/all of this, so apologies if I'm being redundant. Give these a shot:

    * Go to Account 

    * Go to Privacy Settings

    * Go to How Tags Work and change everything to 'Off'

    * Still within How Tags Work - make sure Profile Visibility of posts you're tagged in once they're on your profile is set to "Friends".

    * Go to Control Your Default Privacy (still within security settings) and make sure it's set to "Friends".

    I actually even pick which Friends I want to see my posts, pictures, etc. Some friends are just acquaintances to me and I don't want them seeing everything.
