boy or girl????? geeesh

so my yesterday i had to go pick up my dad from a ultrasound seminar that he was attending for CE credits. when i got there i met a seimens vendor who offered to give me a free u/s. since i havent seen my baby in a few weeks of course i accepted, plus i really want to know the gender and my appt is not scheduled till i am 20 weeks for that. the only problem was that i had just pee'd. i still got to hear the heart and see my baby but the picture wasnt too clear because of my empty bladder. Since it we couldnt determine gender they offered to try again today if i wanted to come back with a full bladder so i did. but when i got there, baby was NOT in the correct possision and it was very hard to determine. there i was sitting in a room FULL of sonographers who were there for the meeting and nobody could see a conclusive image. So i was given 80% chance of girl..... i am soooo excited to think its a girl but at the same time more frustrated than i was before. cant wait to know what it is 100%. Still happy i got to see it at least... just a little dissapointed with a 80/20 chance still looming...

    That's too bad that they couldn't find out for sure, but at least you got to see baby! I can't wait for my next ultrasound so I can see little one again! :) I go for my next one at 17 weeks because I wanted to find out the gender before our family trip to Hawaii (I'm from Canada so I'm really looking forward to shopping at Carters :P and I'm hoping to know the gender before we go), but my OB warned me that they might not be able to tell me that early, which would suck. It seems like lots of people on TB are finding out even earlier than that though, so I'm really hoping and I can find out! Hope you get to find out for sure at your 20 week ultrasound!
