Wow is all I can say. The trip was amazing. The flight down was fine after Ethan got over his fear. The resort was gorgeous and everyone loved the kids. My girlfriends helped out more than I ever thought they would. The food was delicious. We were able to get a cabana right by the pool everyday so the kids took their naps there. I feel we did a really great job at combining a family trip with friends. I never felt like we missed anything. I am also really lucky that dh and I are lenient parents who aren't nap nazis and will let the kids sleep wherever. I am so happy that we took the trip and didn't leave the kids behind. It was a great experience for everyone and we plan on going back there in 2 years when both kids will be able to be in the kids club.

we had a junior suite. it was able to hold a crib and a roll away bed. there is a family suite that i just found out yesterday only has 1 entrance. it has 2 bedrooms. noone was able to describe the room to me so we didn't book it.

would you take the kids? they love children down there. one of the guys kept tellingsophia he was going to keep her. everyone made a big deal about the kids. it is very family friendly.

i almost cried when we left b/c i didn't want to leave. there are a couple downsides. the airport is not air condidtioned so it is HOT. then the bus ride there the air barely worked. norm was hot a lot of the time i was actually fine (which is strange b/c I hate the heat) The air conditioning in the restaurants that have it isn't that strong but we survived and would go back. I was worried on saturday that I made a mistake b/c I was so hot but that thought quicly went away. I will be so jealous if you go. My girlfirends are trying to go back in April.

Did you book online? The price for a standard room is totally reasonable but with the babies we exceed occupancy, which makes no sense b/c the twins will be in cribs- for 5 ppl it will only let me select a suite and it's $1800 PER NIGHT in March. Yep we're definitely bringing the kids. Ours will be 1,1 and 3. Jody's brother's kids will be 9mths,3,3 and 4 so we need kid friendly, haha.

OMG! that is crazy. I think we paid maybe $225 a night for preferred club. If you are really serious about going like the facebook page. There are 2 women that are travel agents on there. Maria Therese Weil and someone else. When we go again we are going to book thru her since she is so loved at the resort. I wonder if they are not doing the kids stay free for 2012. If they dont then we can't afford to go back. It is ridiculous since my kids don't eat that much.

That's so awesome! I was thinking of you guys and wondering how it went! It gives me hope! I can't remember where you guys went. I was trying to tell DH about it but couldnt' for the life of me remember.
