Sorry I've been MIA -- lots of appointments, deadlines, and sleeping.
I went to MFM yesterday, and babies are looking good! Baby A is 4lbs 12oz, and Baby B is 4lb 4oz (Baby A is our boy w/ situs ambiguous). I can't believe it! They were 3 pounders 3 weeks ago. I know ultrasounds can be +/- 7 ounces, but they still gained quite a bit of weight. DH was concerned about the discrepancy between weights -- have other twin moms had this? Baby A is now in the 55%, while Baby A is 41%. MFM said that it is fine...and sometimes boys are bigger.
Now the bad news....NST showed that I am contracting every 3-4 minutes
They talked about keeping me yesterday in L&D, but I told them that the monitoring actually makes me contract more, so they finally let me go home. The contractions have started to hurt a bit more, which scares me, but just taking it one day at a time.
And more sadness....I saw a baby deer get hit on the highway yesterday. I was inconsolable. I haven't cried like that in so long -- I think I've also been keeping a lot in, but my DH just kept telling me I needed to calm down for the babies. It was just awful
I wanted him to stop the car and go check on him, but there was nowhere to stop. I was irrational -- told him to call the police. I felt so helpless. Makes me so sad...
Re: Randomness...update...
YAY for growing babies!! Did they give you anything to try and slow the contractions or did they just tell you to rest more?
And that is so sad about the baby deer. I would have been upset too!

Nothing for the contractions. They said if it's not changing my cervix, then they are OK. They tossed around the idea of giving me a shot of Turb, but it was decided that I could just go home and rest. I just always contract more on the monitors (I think from the pressure).

DS-IUI #1-4 BFN IVF #1 - BFP! It's a boy!!!
i'm so happy your babies are growing so well! as far as the size difference, doctors don't get concerned unless there is a 20%+ size difference. i just had a BPP the other day and my girls were 5.10 and 5.1 - and no one was concerned.
i'm so sorry you are contracting so frequently. hopefully they subside and you can remain on bed rest at home.
also, i'm so sorry you had to witness that baby deer get hit. that had to be so traumatizing. i imagine, with all the PG hormones pumping through you, that it made it that much harder to witness. ((HUGS))
