I really want to feel my baby move! I have an appointment next week at the OB and they said we'll "discuss fetal movement" then. I don't have any to discuss yet!

I had an appointment yesterday and the doctor asked if I was feeling the baby yet-I was so disappointed when I had to say NO.
We have our big u/s scheduled for 16.5 weeks and he said that I should start feeling movement then because I will be able to see and feel the baby moving at the same time. I am so looking forward to that!

You will! With DS, I first felt it at 18 weeks. I remember my OB asking at 16 weeks and I said no and she said she would have been surprised if I was feeling them since I was a first time mom.
And I'm willing to bet that the flutters some people (not all) are feeling is really just still gas.
I am not sure if I have felt anything yet or not. I have always had awful digestive problems. Even before I was pregnant my stomach would be churning and gurgling almost 24 hours a day. There might be some flutters in there. Or it may just be my tempermental digestive track. I can't tell.

This is sooo me! I really wish I could feel flutters but I honestly won't be surprised if I don't feel anything until I feel an actual kick because if flutters generally feel like gas bubbles, I have no idea how someone with chronic stomach probs is supposed to be able to tell the difference!!!
I remember I was laying in bed one night trying to zone out and all of a sudden I had this feeling in my lower abdomen (in the middle between my belly button and my pelvis). I've never felt that before so I found it very strange. It felt like a cross between a fish in my tummy and going down a rollercoaster. It didn't happen again after that til this last tuesday night in bed. It was the same feeling again. This time, right after I felt it move, I REALLY had to pee. This is my first baby so I kind of shrugged the feeling off until I asked my mom the next day and she said it was the baby moving. It feels really weird.
I have felt a few also, but just at night while laying in bed, or when I wake up to use the bathroom. It really does feel like a fish swimming below your belly button. It's very strange, but I can't wait to feel it more often!
I completely understand...I feel nothing!!! it sucks and I cannot wait to actually feel something, and I can't wait to stop looking fat and start looking pregnant lol!
