Maternity Jeans

I finally got some maternity clothes after wearing nothing but my Mom's elastic waist shorts and my own empire waist dresses that are perfect for curves. So it feels surprisingly awesome to be in pants again!

 Found a pair of khaki and black capri's at Target. I'm short, so I can probably wear these as ankle length pants for a bit until it gets too cold. Also found a pair of jeans at Target and Pea in a Pod. They don't fit super great. They're great in the legs and butt, but the waist is actually too big. I was thinking of some kind of maternity belt or something.

Any suggestions on either jeans or belts? Thanks!

    Bella band first, or the rubberband trick where you pull a rubber through the whole and around the button.  These 2 tricks got me pretty far into the pregnancy.  Then I moved on to maternity jeans.  My favorites were from gap maternity.

    My absolute favorite maternity jeans were my Joe jeans & Seven jeans that I got from Pea in the Pod. Totally worth the investment IMO and they both fit great from early on and all throughout. Plus it helped I had a gift card to use there :)

    I like the motherhood maternity petite jeans.  I'm short and have the same problem.

    I loved Gap's maternity jeans. I hate their regular jeans (they don't fit me right) but their maternity jeans were my favorites and based on the recs of a bunch of my friends.  Old Navy has good options as well and are more affordable.  Since you are short you probably would have a nice amount of options at ON, actually, so I would check there first.

    I found my favorite pair for $5 at a thrift store.  They're a brand from motherhood and are normally around $50.... and the thrift stores seem to have lots of jeans.    I do really like my Gap jeans as well, I just hated dropping the cash on those.
