That is wonderful and a very rewarding feeling! Our little man only used it in terms of food lol!
We taught our son a small group of signs when he was very young, he was not going to be able to speak until after his mouth surgery for a cleft palate repair. We taught him words like more, no, yes, drink, eat, please, thank you, milk, water, mommy, daddy, cookie, candy (had to put some fun ones in there). He learned to use them very quickly and it was an amazing feeling. He continued to use them for quite a while after his repair when speaking was a bit slow to come.
