S/O diapers

Theres a big walmart sale here today and there are great deals on diapers. LO just moved on to size 3. We have a box from costco and another smaller box. LO was in 2's for only two boxes. Do three's last a lot longer? (ie will he stop gaining so much weight soon?)

Or should I get a few boxes of fours? Those just seems so... huge!

I would also get 3's - I'm guessing (and I could be wrong) that they babes start staying in the larger sizes longer since they won't be growing AS quickly... that's just my guess. I have nothing to base this on.
