I was IVF so without a doubt know the conception date. The RE gave me a due date of the 24th. Babycenter the 26th and my first appointment at my MW she said the 31st. Anatomy scan said the 27th, so she wants to keep the 31st.
I am trying to plan work leave and in laws travel plans: I was 6 days over due with W. I really want to go with the 24th but am I setting myself up for disapointment?

I also was IVF and got two different due dates a week apart from the same doctor (the fertility specialist). Go figure. Then, I ended up having to go on bedrest 2 weeks before the earlier due date and induced a week later. It is really hard to plan. I had started preparing folks who would be taking over some responsibilities for me during my leave so when I went on leave early, it was easy to pass things off.
My in-laws came a week after DD was born as they didn't want to burden me with too many people in the house as my folks were there for the birth. DH's family is a little more hands-off than mine.
I did IVF, too, but there was a 3-day difference between RE's EDD and the OB. OB said we were going by whatever my first OB u/s said. My c/s was scheduled for one week before the OB's EDD.
ETA: I remember this causing ongoing confusion in the radiology office every time I had an u/s (which was often- previa). They are so insistent on using LMP and I'd always have to explain LMP didn't matter.

That's why I just made up a LMP to say that was 2 weeks before ovulation so I didn't have to explain it every time.
