  We got a glider and ottoman from a closeout furniture store - the baby store markup is crazy. Don't buy from a baby store!

  It doesn't match the nursery, but it was very inexpensive and it will work in our living room once it's done in the nursery. I wanted a glider because I wanted the ottoman which rocked too, and we have used it every day for nine months.

  We decided on a Shermag model that reclines.  I wanted something that glides with an ottoman and DH wanted something that reclines so this fits both requests.  It also has a locking position if you don't want it to move.  We found it at BRU and Baby Depot.  I hate the mark up of baby stores but we didn't see it anywhere else & we plan to use a 20% off coupon.

  We got a Detaulier (sp?) glider rocker from Boscov's. It was the floor model and we got a great discount on it.  It was in perfect condition too!

  It sounds like I have the same reclining Shermag glider as Christina.  I really like it, and it's so comfy and relaxing for middle of the night feedings.

  We have the Best Chairs brand glider & ottoman.  We got it from a baby store, but it was actually cheaper than the furniture store we found it in, and they had better fabric choices too.  It is so relaxing to sit in!

  Only thing I might have done differently if given the opportunity, was paid the extra money for the locking feature.  I'm pretty short, and I"m thinking that being able to lock it might make it easier to get in and out of, but I don't know that for sure.
