Pregnant after IF

:::melicakes:::

Hi, I was just lurking and noticed that you're on SI and had switched REs.

Can I ask who you used? Did you stick to doctors on the island?  I had been going to Knochenhauer but was considering switching to somebody new when I return to treatments.

TIA!

    Hi there. Actually both RE's I used were Manhattan based. I'd never recommend my first RE her bedside manner just wasn't that great. My second RE was awesome, he's from the New Hope Fertility Center. His name is Dr. Zhang. He's very great about explaining procedures and monitoring was easy peasy. The staff is nice too. The clinic has a website , www.newhopefertility.com Good luck!

  • Thanks for responding.  I actually went to New Hope for an IVF/Mini-IVF trial. I had been happy with them until right at the end. I was at the point that they had me traveling in everyday to time my ER perfectly, then went in for the 4th day in a row to do my ER and found out that I had O'd since my appt the day before.

    I was absolutely heartbroken as I don't see IVF being an option for me financially and this was my one shot at a free IVF.  I didn't really show my pain to them since it was free, but I can't help but be afraid they'd do the same thing if I was a paying patient.
