Daycare prices?

In December, I am planning on sending my baby to a woman who watches children in her home. I know she's wonderful because she used to watch me when I was little! She said she charges $5 an hour. Is this a good price? We would probably need her 40-45 hours per week. Is this a reasonable amount to pay? We would be bringing our own diapers and food. This is my first child so I have nothing to compare to. TIA!

I think it is a good price. The daycare price is around $330 for infants. However it also depend on if she has license and the ratio. Ratio for infant should be 1:4.
