We got ours at Babys 1st furniture. Depending on what you want there can be a long order time though. I think we ordered ours in May, and didn't get it until the end of August. It was meant to arrive at the end of July.... Our baby came early though so we went and brought a pack n play....
We do love the crib though now that we have it. It does completely depend on what you want though and how much you want to spend. We spent a fair amount on the furniture.... but it wasn't the most expensive. They do have cheaper options there too!
We also looked at Babies R Us, USA Baby and Ikea. Babys 1st definitely had better quality furniture though...
We ordered DS's furniture through USA Baby and it took FOREVER to arrive. We ordered it the first weekend in November and we didn't get it until mid February. Hello, he was born March 8. They said the manufacturer was back ordered, but I also don't think they did a lot to help. They just kept waiting. It took twice as long to get here as we were told it would.

It seems like there are only a few physical places you can go look at cribs. They have a lot of cribs online though. We bought ds' from Jcpenney online...it did take a while to come in though.
We did a convertible crib and bought a furniture set for both kids b/c we really didn't have any previous furniture to try to reuse. DS's we got at USA baby, and they had it in stock, and we just took it home in a truck that day. DD's we got at Baby's 1st, and they are telling us 5-7 weeks - we'll see if it comes in in time.
If you are just looking for a crib - you can also check out Target and Ikea.

Actually, you probably won't be able to find a crib at Ikea right now. Just FYI.
