first day - no pumping at work

I hope today is a successful first day weaned from the work pump!

crossing my fingers for no discomfort :) i spent the last three weeks reducing number of sessions and frequency.

my daughter is a week and a half away from 11mos, and this was an awesome run. i hope morning/night and weekend nursing continues.

i sure do feel liberated - lol!

  • It's weird isn't it?! Congratulations!

In a weird way I miss it because I always read a book while pumping. I get much less reading in now :)

  • Congratulations! Way to go! I stopped pumping at work at 10 months and was still able to nurse when I was with her until 12 months. At that point, we went to am and pm only, and we lasted until 17 months.

You will feel SO liberated now that you don't have to carry the pump, clean all the parts, etc. It was such a great feeling to be free of the pump! :)
