I am so happy DH's job was just made permanent. I'm super happy for him (he's doing a great job), but I'm even happier for me, because I really don't want to go get a job. I'm pretty good at this SAHM thing. It allows me to be a hoby svlt (I bounce from hobby to hobby). I think if I had to get a job I'd probably bounce around from career to career (I had a lot of "majors" at Uni), which would reveal to the world what a flakey butterfly I really am...

This is one of many reasons I'm really hoping DH gets the job he applied for (it also has many benefits for him/us). It will allow me to stay home with K for a lot longer, maybe even home school her.
ETA: Forgot to add my FFFC. I put Baby Signing Time on pretty much everyday. It lets me poop in peace.
My friends DD is 8 months old. She is always posting on Facebook how advanced her baby is and how great she is. She was telling me yesterday how her baby can sit up on her own and is starting to crawl. I was tired of hearing how great her LO is so I responded with, "Well K gets into a sitting position on her on and has been crawling for almost 2 weeks now. She is also starting to mimic people and will wave and clap and blow kisses. Every baby develops at a different rate."
She didn't have much to say in response and OMG de-friended me on Facebook. My life is ruined.

I applied for a spot for Jules at a sliding scale daycare and secretly hope we don't qualify so my SO will have to get another job and I can stay home.
I currently work part time and J has been coming with me since she was 10 days old but she is too active now. Without the sliding scale my paycheck will just cover daycare so it isn't worth it.
I won't be working once the next one gets here anyway so we might as well just make this adjustment now.
I may or may not have adjusted Claire's sleeping schedule a bit, so i could sleep until noon everyday. Nothing good happens before then so I dont see the point in being awake at the butt crack of dawn.

I don't really like the pretzels M&Ms but I bought a bag because they were on sale and I had a $1 off coupon and I'm eating them by the handful now. Even though I don't like them.
This is why I don't complain about not losing weight because I know perfectly well why I'm not.

Wait, how did you do this?? I need to do this! O was up at 6am today, which sucked for many reasons but mainly bc her swim lesson was at 9:15, making her a crabby, screechy baby the whole class.
ETA quote fail - meant for finallymom and her fabulous sleep schedule adjustment.
Moving up from 3-6 as today's Ben's half birthday! Here's my confession: hubby's home recovering from minor surgery. I was supposed to wake him up an hour ago, but I didn't b/c he's driving me BATSHIT CRAZY! Instead I'm watching DOOL and bumping while eating junk food.

My FFFC is that this morning when I went to put DS in his high chair, there were about a dozen puffs in there that he dropped last time. I put them on his tray and let him eat them.

I get peeved by people who tell me I need to sleep train when I vent that K was up 4 times. #1, pay attention. I pointed out that she STTN from 6 weeks old to the previous week. #2, teething, have you heard of it? & #3 not everyone wants to sleep train. Don't you think I would have tried it already if I wanted to? If it worked for you, good for you. It's not something I intend to do unless it's absolutely necessary, which is quite a ways off.

I have ice cream from my birthday that is calling my name but I am waiting for Jules to nap so I can eat it in peace.

No, I think that might be the only way I'd like it. I'll have to try it half sweet.
I'm bored so I'm tossing out another.

Honestly, it's because I don't have tops to match (like Rim does). Otherwise, she wouldn't be topless.
