7 weeks post partum severe bleeding

Has anyone had this I will be 7 weeks PP tomorrow and tonight all of sudden extreme bleeding. I have been lightly bleeding for about a week and I thought it was an AF I have started my bc almost a month ago and I am not BF. Is this something to be concerned about or is this normal?

    I don't know if there is a "normal" as far as PP bleeding goes. I bled for 6 weeks afterward stopped for one week and then had a period. I am breast feeding. That is almost exactly what happened with my 6 year old as well.

    I think if your worried call the doctor. My doctor says if your soaking a pad in under 2 hours you need to come in. Better safe than sorry though.

    This happened to me too.  It turnd into spotting for another week and then finally stopped otherwise the doctor would have had me come back in.  Are you on the minipill? I am and my doc thought that may have had something to do with the bleeding

    If it continues for another week or gets really heavy I would see a doctor

    Did you do a lot yesterday?  I found that if I was doing too much, the bleeding would get worse again...  BUT I had mostly stopped by 6 weeks.  If it goes more than a day, I'd probably call the nurse.
