tell me your positive mucous plug losing stories!! :)

i know it doesnt really mean anything because it can regrow, but i had lower back ache after i did a lot of walking today and some fairly strong contractions randomly too. I took a bath and lost a bit of my mucous plug, and got excited only because of the other symptoms with it. I have only lost a little of it a couple weeks ago after having sex and it was just clear, but this time it was blood tinged. does that make a difference? Anyone have a stories of losing theirs right before due date and actually going into labor, and if so how long after?? thanks!!

    I do think it is a better thing when there is blood in your mp. You are lucky! I lost some last week, but nothing for at least a week now!! :(

    i hope it means something! and... i HOPE thats what it actually was... sorry TMI but it was snotty clear with some brown stuff, and it was in the bath water. Looked like a giant booger. CROSS FINGERS FOR MEEEEE i want this baby out!

    and ill send some labor dust your way too ! :)

    I just had my first child ten days ago and there were no symptoms at all.  If they didn't induce me which I was initially against I wouldn't know I was in labor.  I would have liked to see all the things mentioned in the baby books.  I looked for my mucus plug and a bloody show.  I waited for the contractions, but until the pitocin kicked in I felt nothing.  I hope you deliver soon.  Lots of labor dust sent your way.     started to lose my mp monday and lost the rest of it on wed and thurs. i have been up all night timing contractions..with one big contraction last night a little more mucus came out with pink blood. I called the dr to find out if i should head in bc the contractions were coming closer although he told me i was more than welcome to we decided to stay home for a little longer to see if the contractions got closer (second baby and I know Ill just be tired sitting in the hospital) however they are still at the same interval...what the heck..the waiting game is the hardest part!! Hoping today is the day!!! Good luck. The Dr told me Im def in labor all good signs...i hope you have your baby soon too:))

    I lost mine on Friday. I went to the doctor the day before and was 1cm. Tuesday night my water broke. I was 1 cm at the hospital. 8 hours later my lo was here. :) it was 2.5 weeks early.
