Bouncer Warning PSA

Hi all, i mostly lurk around here these days, but i wanted to warnn you about the Bright Starts Bouncer  DS has the Teensy Turtle one and evwrytine he uses it, he cuts open the back of his ankle  it took numerous times for me to finally figure out what was hurting him  it seems as though qhen he kicks his feet (which he does like a mad man), he catches his ankle on the frame which isn't padded at all 

Bright Starts has refunded my $ but as far as i know iant doing anythung about the issue

    I feel horrible because I kept putting him in it  We figured he was somehow cutting himself with his toenails, until one day there was blood all on the edge of his seat.

    I posted on the Nurseries and Baby Gear board, but if you put a blanket underneath him it will prevent it from happening.  I have two brands of bouncers and it happens with both of them.  Once we started using a blanket we had no issues.

    Husband has cystic fibrosis. I'm a carrier. We did TESE, IVF, ICSI, and PGD. After two failed IVFs, we were blessed with our twins.

    We have used a blanket since I figured out what was happening, seems silly to have to do this though don't you think? Why can't they just put a little extra padding there?!
