Let me start with this is my first pregnancy -
I used to be really active, zumba & spin classes, running quite abit (I used to do atleast 3 miles a day with hubby) and then when we found out I was pregnant I stopped all workouts (for multiple reasons, constant need to pee, morning sickness & the fact that I was flat out scared to workout for fear I would hurt the baby or have a mc)
Now that I am halfway through (I know not the best time to pick to start eating right & getting back into exercise...but better now than never right?) the pregnancy & have gotten over my morning sickness, I want to eat better & get into a routine to stay active & not gain more weight than necessary
The problem Im running into is finding REALISTIC good for you recipies that dont make massive amounts of food (cooking for one since dh is deployed & Im not gonna go buy all these expensive random ingredients that are only used in afew recepies) I do my best to have a vegetable & protien at each meal and snack on carrots & fruits, but am running out of ideas..which has resulted in a junk fast food binge for alot of my recent meals
Also, since I havent done much activity-wise (I have been trying to walk for 30-45 minutes atleast once a week) I am kinda scared to jump back into any routine for fear of messing up the pregnancy....
Any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
