Well he isn't a month yet, but he was 7.9 @ birth & was 9.9 yesterday at his 3 wk apt, so 2 lbs already!!

About 2.5 lbs - he was 6#11oz when we left the hospital, and he was just weighed today at 9#6oz

The doc was a little surprised since he is BF! He's my little chubber haha

She weighed 7lbs 3oz at birth and 8lbs 7oz at her 2 week check up. She's getting pretty big, but won't be weighed again until her two month check up.

I think she'll probably have gained 2 lbs in her first month.

A little more than 3lbs - he's already out of his newborn clothes. My big boy (12lbs)!

My tiny girl (5lbs 13 oz) gained 3 lbs ( up to 8lbs, 12 oz) in the first month. She's already in 3 mos clothes. Her sister wasn't in 3 mos clothes until she was 5 mos old. Talk about a difference!

not sure exactly - but he had gained a lb in 8 days between early appts...I'm thinking at least 3 lbs. He is EBF and was 6 lbs 8oz at birth.

she was 6lbs 5 oz. at birth 7/16 now she is probably about 10lbs. They should gain about an ounce a day

we jusst went for her 1 month check up & she has gained 2 pounds!!! And we are just BF too so I was surprised LOL our little chunker!!! She also grew a inch so far!!

LO was 8lbs 4oz at birth on 8/7 and weighed 11lbs 2oz at her first month check up but it was at 5.5 weeks. The newborm clothes are pretty tight now.

I know what you are talking about! DD#2 was 5lb15oz at birth, weighed 5lb10oz at her lowest... Regained her birth weight at 8 days old and was 8lb even last week, so she's gained a total of 2.5lb. I just got all of DD#1's old 0-3month clothes out of storage the other day because she's out of nb onesies and nb pants are starting to look like spandex on her... DD#1 was in nb until like 3 months old!

LO was 7lbs 8oz at birth and at his 2 week appt he was 7lbs 13oz. He is still swimming in some of his newborn clothes! He's been eating nonstop lately so I'm sure he's going through a growth spurt. Won't know his weight again until mid-Oct.

About three pounds! He was 6 lb 9 0z at birth, lost 6 oz in the hospital, and was 9 lb 4 oz at our one-month checkup three days ago.

Weighed 8lbs 6oz at birth and by 2 weeks 3 days he was up to 9lbs 14oz. Don't have another appointment till 2 months so I don't know how much he weighs right now.

DD was 7.3@ birth, dropped down to 6.10 2 days later, at 3 weeks she was 9.1. so 2 1/2 pounds in just over 2 1/2 weeks. @ 2 months she was 12.12 (so up just over 6 lbs from her lowest) and I think she will be double her birth weight by 3 months.

My MW had said it is pretty common for boys to do that when EBF, girls not as often.
