I've heard from quite a few people that Kids + Pediatrics is great place. We are due next year, so we intend to get more information at one of their Meet & Greet sessions for expectant parents.
Thank you! That's actually one that I am very interested in looking at, it's the closest one to my house. So I was hoping to hear that it was a nice place. Glad you've heard positive feedback about it!
I'm in the South Hills too, in the Brentwood/Carrick/Baldwin area and some friends and family have recommended Kids Plus Peds, whatever group Dr. Diamond is with gets great reviews, and South Hills Peds.
Good Luck! I know I need to get on the ball meeting these people.

Dr. Diamonds group is actually who I went to as a kid! My nephew goes there now, and most of my friends kids. I think I'm between that group & Kids Plus - I hear great things about them both. I need to get on the ball too with doing meet & greets. Thanks for the advice!!
I asked my doctor about South Hills Pediatrics & Kids Plus and she said you can't go wrong with either one. They are two of her favorite places. It's nice that Kids Plus has a lactation center, if anyone else is planning on breastfeeding. I also noticed that their vaccinations are different - one has 4 different from the other. I'm going to ask my dr about that and see which one is more commonly used - probably will stick with that place.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone!! It's such a big decision.
Another good choice is the Children's Community Pediatrics in Mount Lebanon. I went there as a kid, and now bring my son to them. The doctors are all great, and they've been good about getting me a same-day appointment for any issues that suddenly crop up.
A friend of mine takes her kids there I believe - she lives in Mt. Lebanon. It's a little farther away from me, but my friend loves it!
I ended up choosing Dr. Diamonds group at South Hills Pediatrics. I printed a bunch of immunization schedules from various pediatric offices & took them into my doctor to find out which one is the most highly recommended. Odd that they were different! She said the South Hills Pediatric group had the best schedule, including all the important ones but not icluding ones she didn't think were necessary. Plus, they are connected with Children's Hospital which I thought was nice too.
So this made the decision for me. Good luck choosing everyone =-)

Our OB made a few recommendations as well.

We take our daughter to Dr Diamond. He belongs to Childrens Community Pediatrics on Rt. 51 and Stilley. They are all very nice there!
