When I tell people I grew up in the Camden area, they all seem to remember going to The Pumpkin Farm there, also called Cackleberry. Or else they just think I am from New Jersey. The place closed when I was in high school, so about 15 yrs ago, because the couple who ran it retired. It was very sad, everyone felt like we lost an important part of our small community. I am SO excited to learn that they are reopening this year!!! It will be smaller scale than it was 20 yrs ago, with hopes of expanding to what it once was in furture years! But for anyone who remembers, here is the FB page. Can't believe a farm that has been closed for 15+ yrs in little sleepy town on Camden would have OVER 3700 fans and it isn't even open yet!
And the talking pumpkin is back! Looks like even though it has been closed, the attractions were tended to in some capacity so they could be reopened!
