I was just checking out my registry to see what the price of the crib we picked out was for my parents who've decided to buy it for us. It says that something has been bought, so I'm thinking 'Cool! Somebody used our registry and ogt us something we want!' Only to discover that what was bought was a high chair that I had changed my mind on and replaced with another. Only it never got rid of the one I didn't want. Dammit!
Re: Target, I'm beginning to hate you.
I HATE Target after all the crap that's gone wrong with my registry! When they told me to create a new one and then they merged that with the old one, they never "opened" the registry. I didn't find out until the shower this past Saturday and we were getting lots of things from our Target registry with gift receipts. One of my co-workers said when she went to purchase something a few days before the shower, the bar code on the registry wouldn't work at all. When I took in 4 duplicate items on Monday to exchange, it took 45 min to return everything because the store had to call Corporate to get approval to "unlock" my registry to make the returns. And of course, the registry dept keeps saying the registry isn't closed. Freaking morons!!
You know, it may be that's it's on your registry (even after you removed it) and although it says 'purchased' I don't think I'd trust it.
I just had my shower over the weekend, and the little FP Puppy I once put on my registry has said 'purchased' for a while now, but I never received it. I think it might have transferred over, and been marked as 'purchased' even though it wasn't. Completely logical thinking, right?
Target's site is SO effed up. I understand that these things happen sometimes in order to have change, but seriously? A TON of items aren't even found under the right category, the can be found if you search under 'all items' and not necessarily baby. Tons of my stuff that I registered for cannot be purchased by going to the item's page because the link/connection isn't found. Ughh....
I totally deserve at least 30% off all future purchases for the rest of my life rather than just the measly 20% that expires in the beginning of October. PSH!!!
