A little background... my son has been STTN since 7 weeks old, and never really had any problems with waking up again. Well three days ago he discovered crawling, he'll be 7 months on saturday. Since then we barely sleep at night and cry all night long if not being held, etc. Anyone else have this experience? Do they eventually go back to sleep regularly on their own? I don't think its teething, especially since we already have 7 teeth and we never had sleeping problems when getting those. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! At this point I'm running on caffiene only and near my wits end. Thanks Ladies! (Also posted on 6-9 board)
It's pretty typical for an developmental advance to alter sleep habits. They have this exciting new trick and want to try it out instead of sleeping! For us, (with DC #1 at least) the excitement fades and the sleep returns within a few days. Each time, he went back to his old routine. GL!
