Tomorrow I am going in to check the hb
I had that really awful cold with high fever for four days and I've been vomiting my prometrium up and I have a little cessation of symptoms...my food aversions are gone, my nausea (I googled this spelling) is significantly better..maybe this is because I am a little further along, maybe it's because something happened. I had a missed miscarriage so I am basically a crazy person and I need to go in to calm and reassure myself either way.
I would like to know who has heard the hb at 10ish weeks, with no issue, by doppler in their Drs office. I'd like to know before I go in so I wont become a total basket case if they don't find it right away.

I hope you're able to hear it, but try not to worry too much if you can't. I had an appointment on tuesday at 11w3d and the Doctor wasn't even going to try to hear the heartbeat. I asked her to try and she said it would probably be too early and they normally don't even try until at least 12 weeks, but she agreed to do it because I was nervous. She couldn't find a heartbeat but wasn't concerned in the least bit about it.
I'm going in next week for my NT scan, if I didn't already have an u/s scheduled, I'd be really worried and ask to come back in a couple weeks to hear it.
I heard the heartbeat at exactly 9weeks by doppler in the doctors office... BUT the doctor was sooooo shocked that he didn't believe... so he did an ultrasound check of hearbeat too just to make sure... sure enough it was the same.
I wouldn't worry if you can't hear it! can they not do an ultrasound to ease your nerves?
