    I'm Team Jacob not because Jacob's better (and let's be honest, if you've read the last book you know this argument is obsolete) but because Edward never makes Bella laugh.  Think about it... could you be with someone who was all intensity and no fun?
    Ditto this. He seems too uptight. Bella was so unlikeable and lame, why were these two guys falling all over themselves for her? I could never wrap my head around that concept.

    Like there is even a contest

    On a fun note, I met Taylor Lautner right before Twilight came out. They did a Twilight tour and came to the mall near me. This was before he got all pumped up to be a wold. I felt like a dirty old woman but he was very sweet and friendly!

    Both of them have serious flaws, but Jacob's character reminds me so much of a guy I know (and hate) IRL that I can't separate the two. He's so whiney and stuck on proving that he's better than Edward that he can't recognize that he's a manipulative a-hole. Edward is creepy and stalkery, but I did feel like he really had Bella's best interest at heart, regardless of how horribly he went about their relationship.

    Also, have any of you read reasoning with vampires? She goes basically line by line through the books and snarks the writing. It cracks me up. One of my favorite blogs.

    Let's give Edward some credit here though... the only reason he is SOOO intense is because the love of his life is mortal and he isn't. She is fragile... can die so easily. He worries.

    I love them both because they are both awesome to me... I am still Team Edward though.

    First time I read the series I was so hardcore for Edward, then I  reread them and found myself so drawn to Jacob.

    I think the story ended the right way, but if I were choosing one for myself I totally want Jacob!

    Haha, agreed..I am hoping at that point I will be able to make it through the movie without peeing!!
