I haven't tried it yet myself because LO is too young, but I have friends that really enjoy Mothers and Company in West Boylston. They have a very warm indoor pool and they keep the class sizes very small and it's not loud and over stimulating with a million classes going on at once. Also... the YMCA does infant classes. Here's the link to Mothers and Company. https://mothersandcompany.com/Swimming.aspx

We took DS to a class at our local YMCA (Newtonville location) when we lived in Newton and also to one at the town pool in Sudbury onced we'd moved out here. Both were great and I know the Y one took kids as young as 6 months of age..
I think the Y closest to you in Needham on Great Plain Ave. I just don't know what kind of facilities or classes they have.
We are currently taking a swim class at the Thoreau Club in Concord. It is a wonderful class! The teacher is very energetic and has lots of songs to sing with the kids. I called around to a lot of places and the $ at Thoreau seemed to be less than a lot of others. HTH!
