I've never been a big crier and I'm still not even though I'm pg but lately I find that I get more sentimental over things.
My sister is a year older than me and she has 3 kids (16,14,4) and she and I are really close. She is so excited over this pregnancy, my whole family is because I waited so long, they wondered if I was going to have kids. We went shopping this past weekend to buy my first maternity clothes and we were out for almost 7 hours just hanging out and shopping everywhere.
It was so nice just to be with her and spend time with her and have her gushing over me and the LO. She is my best friend and I am so happy that she lives so close. She was telling everyone "I finally get to be the aunt!".
OK, gush over. Anyone else want to gush?

DH's sister is my best friend and she is absolutely over the moon that she's going to be an auntie. My sister is excited too, but she's 5 years younger than me and not thinking about babies yet so she's just like "yay... can we still go shopping?!" lol.
My gush moment is that DH's dad, whom he hasn't had much of a relationship with since he was a kid, sent me an e-mail asking how I was feeling and telling me how excited he is. The ball is in our court as he's told us he would love for us to come visit him (he lives in Florida). I told DH about it and he was happy, he wants our baby to know his/her grandfather. Happy tears.
This is me, my sister and my brother at his 30th bday (btw, this was the last time I drank b/c I got my BFP the very next day)
That's awesome! Come down to FL, it's great down here...still really warm!
I love my sisters too! They are twins, and one lives in CA (we're in OH). My other sister lives about an hr from me. She has 3 kids (3yrs, 2 (twins) at 1.5yrs). When I got pregnant last Dec, she was so excited to be the aunt too.
Unfortunatly, we lost Austin at 22 weeks. I was bawling when I called to tell her (and everyone else), and she immediately asked me if I wanted her to come up to be with me. I told her no because at that point, there was nothing anyone could do. She showed up that night with 3 boxes of kleenex and sleeping pills. She said she didn't know what to get, but had to bring something. She was a great help throughout the whole process. She had a friend who had went through a similar situation a few years ago, and was able to give me a lot of information of what to expect through delivery.
Her, and my whole family (and DH's mom, step dad, and sister) were all there the day I delievered Austin. They were great support for me and DH. I was happy that they got to 'meet' him, and hold him. I know my other sister was really upset that she couldn't be there, but she came a few days later and spent some time with me. I am very lucky to have the families that we have. They were all thrilled again when we told them about this baby, and I am just praying that this one will be healthy.
Aw, I love it!
I'm super close with DH's sister. They live just down the street from us and have a 2 year old son, who is our pride and joy! We gave him a present, which was a 'Cousins' picture frame with our u/s picture in it and SIL was SO excited and is so happy for us!! They are trying for #2 now and I hope we get to be pregnant together. We are truly blessed to have them in our lives.
We will! But not until the baby is born. He lives in Florida Dec-April and on Cape Cod, Massachusetts the rest of the year. He's a pastry chef so he works in different restaurants during tourist seasons. We told him that next year we will come down with the baby for sure.
