Help me with DD's baby book

I just got a new baby book for DD because I hated her old one (gift). I'm filling out the pages and I got to "The World around Me". I have my own answers to these, but I don't want to be partial and only list people/things I like. I want to truly be the most popular answers. So, what/who is the first thing you think of for each of these...

Also, can anyone tell me how much a movie ticket costs these days, as well as a baby sitter per hour?

    Headlines - Check your local paper from January for this

    Popular entertainers - I like PP picks here. You could also pick any of those actors from all those vampire shows. Those are big these days. Or Snookie ;)

    Popular songs - I'm not big into music, I listen to the radio so whatever's on your local radio station's playlist would work here.

    Best-selling authors - No idea here either - I'm not a big reader.

    Hit TV shows - Any reality TV shows (Real Housewives, Jersey Shore, American Idol, etc.)

    Sports stars - Not into sports either - Brady??

    Fashion trends -  feathers in your hair, big jewelry, long t-shirts/tank tops

     

    Also, can anyone tell me how much a movie ticket costs these days, as well as a baby sitter per hour? No idea here either

    No idea! Maybe you could grab a newspaper and some grocery adds to save to show the news headlines and prices of things for her when she's older?

    The only things I can help you with are...

    Hit TV shows- Glee, Secret Life, Lost (is that still on?)

    Fashion trends- leggings, jeggins, Uggs, tunics, boho tops, long necklaces, skinny jeans, that stupid head band people are wearing around there forehead like as$hats. 

    We went to the movies last week and tickets were $7 matinee and $9 regular.
