We've been giving DS 4 - 6oz bottles, but he hasn't been finishing one. He maybe drinks an ounce or two and usually passes out for his nap.
I'm thinking about just getting rid of one, that will leave us at 18 oz/day, which is in the range for his age.
How much formula / day are you doing now?
Re: How many bottles are you doing now?
DD just turned 9 months and currently takes 3 bottles per day (actually, sippy cups most of the time). They're 7-8oz each and she might leave 1/2 oz (so about 21-24 oz/day). She gets them at wakeup, early afternoon, and bedtime.
She gets 3 solids meals and maybe 6-8 oz of water, as well.
