If Isaac has the 4 mo wakeful, I would never know it. He sleeps like crap anwyay.
Last night was bed at 7:30(eat), up at 8:15, 8:20, 8:30, 10:00(eat), 12:15, 2:30(eat) 3:45, 5:00 and finally up (and talking happily!) at 6:00.
I just keep telling myself that someday he will sleep. And that someday when he is a teenager, I'm going to go wake his ass up every 90 minutes as payback.
::butting in:: Did you get my email? Sorry you're sleepy.
Dizzam I totally forgot to reply. I did get it (at 1 AM while up with the demon spawn LOL). Then I saw the page at 4:30 AM while you guessed it up once again. But I was on my phone and when I got to work I forgot to reply.
Please, tell me to stfu if this isn't at all helpful because I know every baby is different and all parents do things a little differently. We started to have trouble with Seb's sleep habits about a week before he turned 4 months. We started putting him just in a sleep sack and putting him down VERY drowsy but still awake, and he has been STTN now for about 11.5 hours every night for the past 2 weeks or so.
Like I said, if I'm just lucky, I'm sorry if this only made you feel worse lol but, it's worth a shot. I think a lot of Seb's issues were that he would wake up and want to move a little bit but couldn't b/c he was still swaddled and didn't have very much control.

um, did you really just post about your baby sleeping 11.5 hours a night, when someone was venting about their baby that doesn't sleep??

do you have a death wish?
I was trying to be helpful. I'm sorry. I really didn't mean any harm by it.

STFU! Lol.
Fine, never mind. =(
Awww, I was just teasing you! Now I feel bad.
Truly, I'm glad he sleeps for you and I know that you were trying to help.

He has been in a sleep sack only for naps for twoish weeks and at night for at least a week. (I am actually considering going back to the swaddle out of desperation.) I have always put him down awake and/or drowsy but awake. He would then go to sleep either with me putting his paci in his mouth a few times or just on his own with his frog lovey.
He was a good sleeper until about a week and a half ago (at least at night. He sucks sleeping during the day.)
I think my new tactic is possibly to move him back into our room in the hopes that he wants to be closer to me again and might sleep better next to my bed. Maybe swaddling again for awhile. Feeding him at the wake up between 10-11 in the hopes that with the comfort/ full tummy he might sleep until I get up at five. Any other tips or suggestions?
If you're comfortable with it, you might try putting him on his belly to sleep. That's what seemed to help G through the 4 mo wakeful. Sadly, I've tried it with Isaac and he actually wakes up more often on his belly. He's also in habit of rolling to his belly the second he starts to stir, then he gets pissed he is on his belly even though he knows how to roll both ways.

This was a major thing with Seb. Once he was able to roll on to his belly, he slept so much better. We get the occassional crying at 1:30 as he wakes up and tries to scoot to where he wants to be but, on the whole, it's made a world of difference.
Re: 4 month wakeful can kiss my butt
I'm sorry. I hope it gets better soon.
No, you're all high. There was never anything else in this post =D

LOL don't feel bad. Take note of my edit. haha!
See, now this is encouraging. Because I remember you posting how Jack slept like shiit for a good long while.

LOL. I read it before you edited it. At least this makes me laugh. I had to actually work so my above reply didn't get posted.
